When an Argentine delegation arrives in another country with technology to show, there is more behind it than a catalog of services: there is an ecosystem that trained the people, tested the ideas and took them into real projects. What does it take for a city like Córdoba to produce technology that gets exported?
What does each piece of the ecosystem contribute?
Universities provide training, research and labs where ideas are tested before reaching the market. Companies turn those ideas into solutions that work in real environments and sustain them over time. Governments and public companies add something decisive: the willingness to take a new technology to a pilot.
Xcapit works at that intersection. Its line of in-house solutions, Xcapit Labs, also acts as an educational bridge, with partnerships with universities and foundations such as UTN and QuarkID.
What does that collaboration look like in a project?
Together with EPEC, Córdoba's provincial energy company, and the Blockchain Lab of UTN's Villa María Regional Faculty, Xcapit developed the tokenization of renewable energy certificates. The case shows how to measure, certify and record an asset in a verifiable way, and that lesson carries over to other sectors. The article If you can't measure it, you can't monetize it: the lesson from Córdoba and EPEC explains how it applies to agriculture's environmental assets.
What changes when that ecosystem reaches a trade mission?
In September 2026, Argentina's Foreign Ministry Trade Mission brought together 17 Argentine companies in Santo Domingo and left more than 300 scheduled business meetings. Xcapit brought to that table its experience in projects with universities and the public sector, which underpins every proposal.
How can you join this collaboration?
Xcapit is open to talking with universities, governments and companies in the region about projects that combine research, technology and real-world application. A first conversation makes it possible to see what each party brings.
Does your institution work with universities or labs on technology projects? A first conversation helps see where each party's experience can be added.
